Abstract
The paper describes the case of a 15-year-old child with Crohn’s disease in whom Crohn’s disease was diagnosed during his hospital stay. Crohn’s disease and its major characteristics are described as well as the diagnostic work-up and the role of the nursing sister in dealing with a child with suspected Crohn’s disease.
