Abstract
The author presents the new classification of neuroblastoma and treatment of the different subgroups. The course and treatment of the rare metastatic subtype of neuroblastoma in infants are presented in detail for two patients. Children with high-risk neuroblastoma are exposed to intensive multimodal therapy. Active participation in the HR NBL 1 study with immunotherapy application is regarded as the standard of care in paediatric oncology worldwide.
