Abstract

This article describes the recommendations for dietary treatment for infants, children and adolescents in hospitals. We emphasize the team approach, that is, a multidisciplinary approach to nutritional treatment and the importance of early detection of paediatric patients with nutritional risk. We present methods of assessing the nutritional status of a paediatric patient.
