Abstract

This supplementary issue of Slovenska pediatrija presents the abstract proceedings of the international congress “Stronger Together”, dedicated to child and adolescent health, taking place from 24 to 26 September 2026 in Portorož, Slovenia. The congress brings together four major scientific meetings: the 9th Slovenian Paediatric Congress, the 9th Congress of School, Student and Adolescent Medicine, the 23rd EUSUHM Congress, and the 24th IAAH European Regional Conference. Abstracts of lectures, workshops and poster presentations offer a broad overview of current challenges in paediatrics and school and adolescent medicine. Key topics include youth mental health, preventive care and vaccination, the management of obesity and chronic conditions, the impact of digital technologies and the environment on growing up, and the transition from paediatric to adult healthcare. Contributions from Slovenian and international experts highlight the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, knowledge sharing, and partnerships with young people and their families in providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare.
